Fr. Mayama will then visit Holy Ghost Preparatory School in Bensalem, PA, as well as Spiritan communities in New York, Maryland, Virginia, Illinois and Michigan.

Fr. Shortall will visit Spiritan communities in Ohio, Arkansas, California, and Texas, including the Spiritan Office for Mission Advancement in Houston.

Both Frs. Shortall and Mayama will reconvene for additional meetings in Pittsburgh before departing for Rome on April 10.

Generalate visits to the U.S. Province are scheduled once every eight years, and provide opportunity for spiritual reflection, fraternity, and collaboration among members of the General Council and U.S. Province.

Members of the U.S. Province are looking forward to the visit and hope it will help us discover new opportunities for evangelization and effective ways of living out our Spiritan Charism in the context of the local Church.
