Claude Tassin is a French Spiritan, he was born in 1944.
He lived for some years on a mission in Central African Republic and Gabon.
Later on, as a Doctor of Theology Professor (Ph.D), he taught for twenty-five years at the Catholic Institute of Paris in Biblical Studies, including Ancient Judaism, its History and literature, as much Hellenistic as Semitic.
Along with this field marked by various publications, he is the author and composer of many liturgical songs.
Among other works, he has just completed a CD (2014): ‘Il viendra un Soir’ (‘He shall come some evening’). Hymns and canticles of the Liturgy of the Hours (www.adf-bayardmusique.com).
In recent years, he devoted his time to travels for collaborating at Biblical Studies (Democratic Republic of Congo, Ivory Coast, Korea, Vietnam).
He is currently writing a scholarly commentary on the second epistle of Paul to the Corinthians.
