Advent is a four-week liturgical season before Christmas. It is a time of prayer as we await the Lord's coming and celebrate the birth of Jesus.
As we embark on this new Liturgical year, we are filled with joy and anticipation. We will be reading passages from the Gospel of Luke.
Jesus comforts his people through his words and ministry, offering encouragement to those whose hearts are frightened. Advent is a time of joy as we prepare a place for Christ to be born again in our lives. What must we do to be ready?
We must find hope in God’s faithfulness to us in all our life circumstances. God does not promise that we won’t have trials and difficulties, but God promises to be with us through it all. Let's take comfort in the assurance that God is always with us.
During this Advent season, we always ask God to help us with our worries and fears. We worry about our families, health, finances, and so many other things. When there are so many anxieties about the future, it is only God who can save us from ourselves. Come, Lord Jesus.
