Act of Spiritual Communion - When, for any reason, we cannot participate in Mass, the Church invites us to unite with Christ through this prayer of Spiritual Communion. Praying this prayer is a beautiful way to unite our hearts to Christ's when we cannot receive him physically in the Eucharist. 

My Jesus, I believe that You are in the Blessed Sacrament. I love YOU above all things, and I long for YOU in my soul. Since I cannot now receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. As though You have already come, I embrace You and unite myself entirely to You; never permit me to be separated from You. Amen.

• Andrea Bocelli, the Italian tenor, has created a wonderful 20-minute music video called Music for Hope. It was recorded in the Cathedral in Milan, Italy with him and an organist.
