The Union of Circumscriptions for North America and the Caribbean met in Montreal, Quebec from April 27 to May 1, 2015.
This is an annual meeting of the Major Superiors of the Spiritan provinces and groups located in North America and the Caribbean. As part of the agenda for this year’s meeting, the participants spent a day discussing the strategies for effective cross-cultural communication as we seek to collaborate across national and cultural boundaries in advancing the mission of the Congregation.
The group also received a report from the Generalate in Rome concerning the preparations for next year’s Enlarged General Council scheduled to take place in Rome June 19-July 2, 2016. Each superior also shared a report on what is happening in each of their own circumscriptions which included an overview of the Spiritan mission in the respective parts of the Congregation.
