Amid the things happening in our world, God always provides for all our needs. As we journey through the storms of life, God reaches out his hands and encourages us not to be afraid. Throughout our difficulties, Jesus reminds us that God will not pass us by without blessing us.
For God, there is no insignificant moment where his blessings can’t reach us. We must believe and have faith. Sometimes we may feel alone and begin to hide in our caves of despair. God is faithful and leads us safely in the boat of refuge. God desires to save us from our doubts and fears.
In prayer, as we remain focused on the Lord, our seemingly overwhelming problems are calmed as we find hope in the Lord. We often look around us and see how God blesses others, thinking that God has forgotten us. God knows our struggles. God invites us to come to him.
Coming to the Lord is a process of faith and trust. It is not easy. When we make that choice, we begin to listen to others who may even want to prevent us from making the choice. We may even start comparing ourselves to others believing that God will bless us that way.
In God’s gentle way, we are lifted out of our fears and moved from our place of safety into the loving embrace of God. Jesus walks on water and calls us to put faith in him in spite of winds and waves of life that challenges us.
