Early on Saturday morning, September 26th, a group of 30 students from Duquesne University set off on a pilgrimage from Pittsburgh to take part in the Pope Francis’ historic visit to the Philadelphia, the birthplace of liberty and freedom in the United States.
Holy Ghost Preparatory School installed the first lay President of the school, Mr. Gregory Geruson, Class of 1979, as part of the annual Mass of the Holy Spirit in a beautiful outdoor Mass in the picturesque Courtyard of the school.

A two year project to renovate an existing building into a medical dispensary at Mbokombu, Moshi, Tanzania concluded with the recent opening of the facility named for Fr. John Neville, C.S.Sp. John Neville was also a medical doctor, who became the first Irishman to head the vast mission which then included Kenya as well as the islands of Zanzibar and Pemba.
Fr. Sean O’Leary, C.S.Sp. who worked in Taiwan for 11 years, after 6 years in Ireland, has returned to Taiwan as Pastor of Mary Queen of the World Parish in Houli, which has not had a priest in residence for over 16 years.
