On May 28, 2023, the U.S. Spiritan community had a lot to celebrate. Not only were we celebrating the birthday of the Church with all Catholics, but we were celebrating the birthday of the Congregation (founded in 1703 by Venerable Claude Poullart Des Places), the 175th Anniversary of the re-foundation by way of merging with the Congregation of the Holy Heart of Mary, and the end of the celebration of the 150th Anniversary of the U.S. Province.

Celebratory Masses and receptions occurred at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA, in Hemet, California with the Holy Spirt Church and Our Lady of the Valley Church communities, and at St. Mary’s Church in Helena, Arkansas.
